ipodder 1.1.4

I “temporarily” left my podcast / internet show last month, frustrated with a few things in the both the software and real-world universes. At the same time, I pretty much gave up on listening to any podcasts whatsoever, which is a shame, since I enjoyed many of them.

With the new version, iPodder is slightly less of a pain in the ass: 1.1.4 solves both the massive problems of 1.0 (torrents seem to work, or maybe people are just not using them anymore) and the busted-ass “improvements” of 1.1 (shows no longer start playing after download: one wonders if they ever tested 1.1 with scheduling turned on, but that’s plently for now).

If you gave up listening to podcasts around this time, and it was because the Windows implementations of iPodder left you wanting more, 1.1.4 is worth checking out.

This was in the Yahoo Technology news today, and it mentions podcasting in general as well as Adam Curry’s involvement.
