Yet again, the Vikings have been shut out of Monday night play. No biggie… we do host both Green Bay and Chicago in Sunday night games this year. That should be fun.
The Titans, on the other hand, get a couple Sunday night games and one Monday game (at the Jets).
there's always one team that's featured on all kinds of national tv games only to go 5-11 or something. wonder if it's the pack this year.
Word on the street is that the Vikings toss salads at the state pen on the weekends for nickels. Fo' Shizzel!!
Four prime-time TV appearances, including a maximum three on Monday Night Football, a historic opener in Lambeau Field and Thanksgiving Day in Detroit are major features of the Green Bay Packers’ 2003 regular season schedule, announced Thursday by the National Football League. In addition, the Packers will face the reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their opponents in the “Big Dance,” the Oakland Raiders, on the road, and will entertain two other playoff teams — the NFC East champion Philadelphia Eagles and the NFC West champion San Francisco 49ers. Overall, testifying to their nationwide appeal, eight of the Packers’ 16 games will be featured television games, in response to the high demand for them among the NFL’s broadcast partners
I would like to say, again, in public this time, that the Titans would have played a MUCH better Super Bowl than the Raiders did.
Even my Bears get a Monday night game. Sorry for you Vikes fans…though the Sunday nighter of Bears-Vikes should be fun.
the good news is that the titans and vikings play at the same time only 7 times this year. last year they were both at noon probably 75% of the time. it makes for a happy marriage.
